By 2008, Balmain started to become extremely celebrated in pop culture. At just 24 years old, Oliver Rousteing replaced Christophe Decarnin as the creative director. At the time of his appointment, Rousteing was relatively unknown as a designer. However, he ushered in the finer aspects of French culture and he has been credited with adding an Asian influence to the brand's clothing. As a result of Rousteing's creative direction, men now account for 40 percent of Balmain's revenue. His selfies with the Kardashians, Rihanna, and Beyoncé has allowed Rousteing to become a household name and Balmain has become the first french label with over 1 million followers. The various designs in his collection are friendly to women and men of all different shapes and sizes. Let us know what you think.
