After several projects under the name Breezy Lovejoy, California singer, rapper and producer Anderson .Paak splashed onto the scene with his vocal contributions to Dr. Dre's third studio album "Compton." Shortly thereafter, Paak quickly became one of the most sought after R&B artists in the game and on January 30, he announced his deal with Dre's Aftermath Entertainment. Born and bred in Oxnard, California, Paak was a drummer for his church as a teen. In 2012, he released his debut album "O.B.E. Vol. 1" as Breezy Lovejoy. Unfortunately, he was not able to promote the release because he landed a spot on "American Idol" as a drummer. His 2013 all-covers EP "Cover Art" was his first Anderson .Paakk release and "Venice" dropped a year later. Earlier this year, he released "Malibu" and it has featured collaborations with 9th Wonder, Rapsody and Kaytranada.
